About Paula

Paula is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC#10006644) affiliated with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta. Paula offers counselling services to couples and individuals online and in Sherwood Park (5 minutes from Edmonton). 

 

Paula has many years of experience advocating for and supporting adults and youth in various capacities. She is particularly passionate about working with couples and has her Level 3 in the Gottman Method and is working towards full certification. She takes a relational approach when working with couples and substance use and has specialized training in treating affairs and trauma. In addition, Paula is a SYMBIS facilitator and offers solid pre-marital counselling using this approach.

 

She is also a Certified Brainspotting Consultant and has completed Phase 1, Phase 2, Masterclass, Brainspotting and Addictions, Imagespotting, Parts, and Changing Lives-One Badge at a Time (for law enforcement and first responders). Paula is dedicated to supporting people on their unique paths to uncover ways to live strategically with intention and purpose. She carries a person-centred approach that holds trust, acceptance, respect, and collaboration as significant.
